Hi Everyone, My Verizon S7 Edge has a minor crack on the top right corner of the screen. It is not too bad and I can't afford the repair. I attached a pic so you can see the damaged phone. The crack does not really affect the phone's functionality much at all. Will a screen protector prevent the crack from spreading?

If so I would really appreciate your suggestion as to which screen protector or screen protector / case combo would work best for this specific crack. If someone has another solution besides getting it professionally repaired, please feel free to share. I love the phone and want to keep using it. Thanks for the advice. I spent way too much time looking through the screen protector threads. It seems like all the glass ones just use a little glue around the edges of the phone's screen.
