Hi mcella, If You have AJA Kona3 hardware You can use AJA DPXToQTTranslator utility (or download from AJA site) to convert Your DPX files to QT AJA Kona 10 Bit RGB Codec. This codec have same 4:4:4 RGB sampling and I thing it will be file. I always use it. But before converting check 'Color Range Tag' settings in FCP for Your sequences and do it same else You will have Black/White shifts in FCP sequences. And also You can do 'Save as reference movie' and in this case Your files will be pointed directly to DPX files, but in this case You will lost some performance and need more disks (RAIDs) read speed...
