Toshiba Laptop Mouse Pad Not Working Windows 8
I have an external HP mouse which was working fine with this Toshiba laptop, now suddenly it is not working anymore only on this laptop. On other laptops, the mouse. Jan 29, 2018 Toshiba Satellite mouse pad stopped working. Mouse pad not working on toshiba laptop. On the right of the screen and the date on the lower left in Windows 8. I also had a problem with my touchpad (Toshiba laptop). The touchpad worked, except for the Windows 8/10 new functions, like scrolling by swiping with two fingers.
My touchpad is not working after upgrading to Windows 8 Professional. I have a Lenovo Ultrabook u300s, the touchpad i believe is Cypress Trackpad. The mouse cursor simply doesnt move but I notice if I click the button it will response.
I have installed the latest driver from manufacturer support website. The only way i can get it work is to remove the driver, but the standard drivers by Windows doesn't have the palm detection.
Notice also the key button (F6) to disable the touchpad doesnt work anymore.
Mike Jones American Dream Movie. Best Answer: 1. The touchpad and external mouse drivers should be able to work together. Just make sure that you have the touchpad enabled.
To see if you have the touchpad enabled, hold the Fn key and press F9. The combination Fn-F9 locks and unlocks the touchpad. If pressing Fn-F9 once, twice, thrice does not seem to lock/unlock your touchpad. Then you might not have the Toshiba hotkeys working or enabled. So lets forget it and try step 2. If Fn-F9 solved your problem. There you go!
