Editorial The USAF RQ-1A Predator UAV is one of those aircraft that I always found quite funny to look at – not only is it a unique shape but it flies very differently to what I would typically be used to. That being said, this updated version of the USAF RQ-1A Predator UAV for FSX made me quite curious to see how it would perform. Having had the pleasure of using David Robles models in the past I had high hopes that this would live up to the expectations that I had set for the mod, so how did it stack up to what I was hoping to see? First off, I was really impressed by how easy this is to install – you just copy the files into your Airplanes folder and voila!
UAV Predator - Download. A blow to crime cartels the Predator UAV. Archipelago or race against the clock in a dramatic game of hide and seek across. The MQ-1 Predator is an unmanned aerial vehicle. The UAV is first activated by playing a 'Satellite Mini-Game'. The UAV is sent to the targeted area and the player.

The Design The level of detail on the model is very impressive, taking into account everything that makes the USAF RQ-1A Predator UAV look as distinctive as it does. This unmanned vehicle obviously has no space for a pilot, but it is controlled remotely and this can be quite a fun kind of flight to take on. This is a data transmitter so it flies around picking up information, so you will feel like it’s quite minimal in terms of the flamboyant and over the top designs that many of us would be used to when we are looking at various other military aircraft over the years. This little UAV does what it is asked, and the design keeps it nice and minimal for this reason.
The original model by Tim Conrad has been taken on by David and made to look even better than it did in the past, with updates and changes to make it fly with Air Force colors a nice and much needed touch in the right direction towards realism. The Performance Given that this is just a UAV it has far less functionality than your average aircraft but you still have total control over how it flies. I found it a bit hooky to fly at first but within a few hours I was beginning to get used to its unique flight style and getting more comfortable with flying it.
I was quite impressed with the flight style but I have to say it was a little unremarkable – however, given what it’s based on, I was hardly expecting a piece of aviation royalty! That being said I was still deeply impressed by this mod, as the performance that it introduces is very impressive and makes it much easier for someone like myself to appreciate the unique kind of hardware that the USAF RQ-1A Predator UAV is making of for analysis and scouting worldwide. It’s a nice mod and one that you should definitely pick up if you want to make your jaunts into the skies a bit more interesting.
It might not be for everyone but the USAF RQ-1A Predator UAV is a really enjoyable piece of kit that you should enjoy flying.
